Vitamin Well Mielijuoksu returns to Helsinki

Vitamin Well, together with MIELI Ry, invites everyone to take part in Vitamin Well Mielijuoksu, a charity event supporting mental health, held at Meripuisto in Helsinki on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

This year, the event expands with more start times, making it easier than ever for runners, walkers, friends, and families to join. The concept remains simple: move in your own way and at your own pace. Participants can walk or run a marked route and complete as many laps as they wish within the given time.

Every step makes a difference. The participation fee of €10 is donated in full to MIELI Ry to support mental health work and crisis work. In addition, Vitamin Well will donate an extra amount for every lap completed during the event.

“For us, Mielijuoksu is more than just a running event, it’s a concrete way to promote mental well-being and bring people together through movement. It’s important to us that the barrier to participate is low, so that as many people as possible can discover the joy of running”, says Caisa Lindblom, Marketing Activation Manager at Vitamin Well Finland.

The day is designed to be as inspiring as it is meaningful. Participants can enjoy an energizing warm-up led by Katri Djerf, music throughout the event, and the opportunity to test running shoes from Salomon. Vitamin Well drinks and Barebells protein bars will be available for all participants.

Adding to the atmosphere, members of the Finnish band Haloo Helsinki! will join the event and take part alongside participants, supporting the cause by moving together for mental health!

Visitors can also stop by Café Carusel, which will offer a free coffee or tea with every lunch purchase during the event and donate €1 from each lunch sold to MIELI Ry.

The event includes three different start times:

Family Start 1: Welcome at 12:00, start at 12:30, duration 1 hour

Family Start 2: Welcome at 14:00, start at 14:30, duration 1 hour

General Start: Welcome at 16:30, start at 17:00, duration 2 hours

The Family Start features a 1.2 km route suitable for all ages, with €0.50 donated per completed lap. The General Start offers a 2.1 km route, with €1 donated per lap.

Spots are limited, and participants are encouraged to register early!
